Fabric changes the way a dress photographs, moves, fits and feels. Use this guide to choose the right balance of structure, softness and comfort.
Satin
Smooth with a polished surface. Satin can look luminous and elegant, but weight and stretch vary by style.
Chiffon
Light, airy and fluid. Often layered for coverage and movement; ideal when softness matters more than structure.
Crepe
Refined with a subtle texture and clean drape. Some crepes stretch, while structured versions may have limited give.
Jersey
